Visum enters the PC motherboard market

In 2006, Visum sought new fronts to expand its presence and is acquiring a modern SMD - Pick & Place Fuji NXT assembly line. In practice, this means that the company is equipped to serve the competitive PC motherboard assembly market.

The new assembly line is designed to meet the growing demand for motherboards, memories and videoboards, serving national PC manufacturers with the assembly of kits known as CKD.

With the inauguration set for June 2006, the new assembly line will have an estimated production capacity of 60,000 motherboards/month.

The company’s investments total US$ 3 million and consolidate Visum’s name as an innovative company that is attentive to new market opportunities.
